I started running in the fall of 2007. I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.
Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014. My favorite PRs: 2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22. 2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15
Short-Term Running Goals:
Long-Term Running Goals:
Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.
Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!
On running and on life.....
On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Personal:
Going to St. George? Bag the hotel and stay in one of our condos instead!
Love my Payson Canyon! Today Tom and I enjoyed the morning with Dan, Ludlow, Mary (Alan and Joy were kind enough to take us up even though they weren't running down).
Tom and I enjoyed the morning run in the beautiful Fishlake National Forest. We were able to stay in the old Lee Pleasant Pines cabin with Tom's siblings and spouses. Missed having Bob and Nancy with us as they serve their mission in Washington DC. But the rest of us had a great time! So glad the cabin is still in the family with Tom's cousin Lance and his wife Andrea!
This week I was up at Girl's Camp at Koholowo which is up Payson Canyon. I woke up at 4 and left the campground around 4:15 to drive down to meet the gang at Peteetneet at 5:00. I rode up with them then ran down with them (mostly with my friend Kristin) and then drove back up to Koholowo (took Alan back to his van that he drove us all up with) and also picked up sweet Sarah Norris from Peteetneet to take her back up to camp for the day!
Payson Canyon....I was shooting for 11 today but my knee started acting up a bit a little after nine miles so I did a power walk for the next mile and a half and got picked up at the end. I don't want to take any chances on injuries!
I took a few days off since I had some knee trouble on Wed....hoped I would feel good for a long run today....nope....I tried but stopped because I can tell it was not working....I would rather keep the healing going instead of agrivate it again todat...but it makes me sad... But that is ok...life is good!
Drove the gang up Payson Canyon today. I didn't run because I am giving my knee a rest from the down hill this week. I miss it when I don't get to run that one. But hopefully I'll be doing well for the 1/2 marathon that I have to pace this Saturday.
Tom and I were able to pace TOU 1/2 this morning. We took Tani up to Logan yesterday to move into her apartment with her friend Tracy. We stayed at a lady's house that we found through Air B&B. It turned out great.
Tom did the 2:10 and I did the 2:20. We love when we get to run nice and easy and help others along on a half. This was a very well organized race. It was also a perfect, beautiful morning.
Yay....back to my Wednesday Payson Canyon run and no knee problems! I sure love this run. The sky was so pretty as we were dropped off 11 miles up the canyon. I had my van parked at mile 8 and drove home from there.
