I started running in the fall of 2007. I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.
Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014. My favorite PRs: 2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22. 2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15
Short-Term Running Goals:
Long-Term Running Goals:
Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.
Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!
On running and on life.....
On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Personal:
Going to St. George? Bag the hotel and stay in one of our condos instead!
On this very cold Ground Hog's Day morning Tom and I went and ran up and down center street. Hard to find a decent road to run on with all of our snow.
Twelve foggy miles with the guys....glad Tom, Ludlow, Dan and Chad let a girlie tag along. Lots of frosted hair and eyebrows and eyelashes this morning!
I actually only did 6 today but I did 2 after Zumba yesterday so I am just logging it here. Actually had nicer weather today....31 degrees and no fog/smog!
Starting the Couch to 5 K training for my friend DeeAnn Hatch. She has lost 87 pounds and wants to train for a 5k. Looking forward to meeting with her 3 times a week before Zumba. Eventually it will add a mile or two onto my training but right now it is not much running.
Back to a few more layers again today. This is the time of year in Utah where we have spring one minute and winter the next. Snow came down yesterday but is melted away today.
Day 2 with DeeAnn. Annette was going to join us today but I didn't realize it and we didn't keep the church door unlocked for her. We felt so bad when the Zumba ladies showed up and opened the door and she walked in with them. She had been going around the church in the cold when she came dressed to go in the church. :( So proud of her for not leaving and going back to bed!
Tom, Kim, Carolyn, Ludlow, Doug, Alan, and Todd today. Nice day except for the wind at times. But this is Spanish Fork...wind is who we are.
Found out last night that Tani and her friends are going to come here tonight for Sadie Hawkins dinner and games before the dance. I guess we better figure out what we are feeding them and get the house cleaned!
Today is Tia's last day of Tales of the Arabian Nights with the SF Youth Theater. It will be her last show ever with them. After this year she is just going to do HS things. That keeps them busy enough! We have seen a lot of fun shows with Tani and Tia and the Youth Theater.
