Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Wow!  December first!

This morning as Tom and I rounded the corner as we began our run we passed a fellow running friend who asked us if we were just getting started.  We said yes and she said, "It sure is beautiful!"  We had to laugh because most people would be telling us we are crazy.  We passed one other runner who said,  "Good, some more smart people!"   So it was fun to have a few validations of our sanity this morning.

It was beautiful!  I love that "snow globe" feel!  Big, fluffy snowflakes coming down on your face....Tom mentioned that we could hydrate while running by just opening our mouth.

I'm glad I had Tom with me on this one.  I was doing some hill work.  I got to go up and down Heartbreak Hill 8 times.  I wanted to say it was snowing and up hill both ways, but I guess I can only say it was snowing and up hill one way.

I know running friend was serious about her comment, but I may have detected a hint of sarcasm from the other runner.

If it makes you feel better, I think the two of you are crazy.

Whoa Tom! That was fun! I forgot how rowdy those Osmond boys were! Love the flowing bell bottoms as they dance and the cool funky chicken legs! Ha ha! That takes me back to that upstairs bedroom at my mom and dad's house with the record player and the pretend microphone! I think I like being crazy! BTW Burt: Back at'cha on the crazy! :)
