Tom and I ran together till the SF water stop and then we each went our own way for the rest. I went back up into town and intended to keep things around 9:30 but ended up in the 8:50 - 9:00 range for the rest. Enjoyed the sunshine.
Got home and heard a knock at the door. When the kids say, "mom or dad", you usually have a salesman at the door. This time the guy asked if I was interested in selling the clunker in our drive way. (OK, he said car, not clunker). It has been sitting there for 1 1/2 years waiting for us to figure out how to get it off our hands. They gave us $150.00 and now it's not in our driveway anymore. They were happy and we are happy. |
