Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

It took me a while to talk myself into getting out the door today.  Does that ever happen to anyone else?  The wind is a bit chilly, but I warmed up good after the first mile and stashed my jacket, hat and gloves to pick up on the way back.

Today on the agenda was a 12321.  Each number is minutes with a .25 recovery jog between.  Here's how they went.

1 min: 7:24 pace

2 min: 7:25

3 min: 7:21

2 min: 7:24

1 min: 6:56

You bet, especially on early, cold dark runs. Great mental strength to get out the door and get the planned run done!

Where have you been Kim?

jtshad: I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for the encouragement!

Burt: I took a little break from the blog while I was injured last year. It was easier for me to tough it out alone for a while instead of writing about all of my woes. Luckily now I am injury free and enjoying the running and the blogging.
