I have to add a tally mark to the left side of the chalkboard for today. Anyway, mentally I wasn't ready to do today's workout. Warm up...4 X 1mile repeats at 7:45-8:15 with a 1 minute jog/rest between....cool down. I had decided to just get out and run and not worry about a certain workout. But I didn't let my mind and the wind win today! I did a mile and a half warm up and then started my miles right smack into the wind! Miles 1 and 3 were into the wind while miles 2 and 4 the wind was at my back.
And so I did it...and now I have my first tally marks on the left side of my new imaginary chalkboard. I think I'll use this chalkboard a lot...silly, but effective. |
