Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

First of all....Happy Birthday to my mommy!  And also to our Grandma Aunt Betty!  Yes, she is our Grandma Aunt.  Officially Tom's aunt who has kind of taken over as grandma for our kids since her sister, Tom's mom, passed away.  So a big happy birthday wish to two very special ladies!

My schedule today called for a 5 mile run with a 3 mile tempo in there.  Tom went out with me and helped me with it.  Two mile warm up then the 3 mile tempo.

Thank you Clay! I appreciate your encouragment and happy attitude for everyone even though things aren't working out quite right for you right now! Your good karma is going to return great things your way! : )

Kim, tempo runs are the secret to PRs, break 22 for the 5k, you can do it. Hey, are you selling tickets? You know, tickets to your gun show? Where is Tom's guns?

I'm thinkin it's about time Kim made it into the Low 23's for a 5K. If she made it into the 22's She may get a big head and start giving out running advice etc...

Brent: As I was out running today I was thinking that I needed to come and comment to you that I ought to go for breaking 24 and 23 before I ever think of breaking 22! Then I came home and looked and there was good ole' Terry helping keep things in a good perspective....I better not go for 22 because I surely don't want to get a big head and start offering running advice! : )

My PR on a 5K is 24:02. I did one 23:?? one July 4th but the course was short so I'll never know what that one would really have been. I'm just excited to go under 24 at Painter's this year. We'll see.
