Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

With the taper I was suppose to do 4 today.  Over shot it a bit.  Mostly nice out, a little wind to join me in mile 3.  Average pace 9:40.  The stars are going to have to align just right for me to reach my goals on Saturday.  I hope I haven't set myself up for disappointment.

Hey don't worry about Saturday, the stars will do whatever they do and all you need to do is do your best (how's that for using the word 'do' many times in 1 sentence?!). Personally I think you'll do great. Just start out maybe a little towards the bronze or silver goal pace and see what happens. One thing I'm about 100% sure about is that you'll PR which is always something to be proud of. No worries, no doubts, no Gwen :)

Wow, that almost never happens for me! Nice job overshooting! I agree with Tom too, what great advice. Just enjoy where all this great training takes you. You are going to do great, no matter what your ending time ends up being.
