Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Happy Birthday Tia!

Yes, that is three kids of ours with birthdays within the last 2 weeks!  Tia is our sweet little caboose!  She is 8 years old today!  We had a "Monster Mash Birthday Bash" with 12 of her best little monster friends!  I am so glad that hour and a half is over!  But we had a really fun time!

And now, total concentration on 26.2 miles!

I hear you on the concentration factor. I have been "trying" to think about it all day but find myself getting lost in many other things. I am ready to get to St. George and just process some things prior to Saturday morning. You have had a very busy week, it'll be nice to get down to George and run it all out!! You are going to do great! See you tomorrow, eeek!!

Hey Kim we have another thing in common (besides running and IT band Issues). My daughters birthday was October 1st and we had a three hour birthday party to which she invited 12 friends (one was on vacation) but her two sisters also went. Fun for the kids, we had about six diffent games. She also turned eight!! She will get baptized on November 1st due to conference. I just thought that this was a fun coincidence. Apparently we were pregnant at same time during the same months!!! She came on her due date at 8 pounds 11 ounces (ouch!!!). Yes I am up this early, not really to do with the marathon. I haven't slept over 5 hours in a few weeks and my hip is really intensely bothering me. Still waiting for race day magic. Leaving for SGM at noon Friday. Hope to see you at the party! JULIEC.
