Short-Term Running Goals:

Run 4-6 times a week no matter what the weather!.

Stay injury free so I don't have to start over again!

Up coming Races for 2008

  • Sept. 6: Spanish Fork Running Club 1/2 marathon
  • Oct. 4: St. George Marathon

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Run my first marathon this fall. Goals for St. George Marathon:

#1. Finish alive. (most important goal!)

#2. Finish in 4 hours. (Fun, possibly doable, but not the focus.)

#3. Finish with a BQ in 3:50. (Just something to have out there if the stars were aligned exactly right for me that day!)

Personal:

Married to Tom for 21 really great years!

Five kids, oldest on an LDS mission in Tokyo, Japan.

Love to have a good time and enjoy time with family and friends.

Total Distance
14.20

Tom and I joined a rather large group of Spanish Fork area runners.  We turned around a bit before most of the rest of them to get 14.2 today.  In two weeks I'll be taking my long run to 15.  Tomorrow is a rest day and then I guess it's time for a more gentle week of running.  Nice to throw in a rest week with a few less miles about every 5 weeks.

Kim

Awesome run on your race yesterday. I told you that you guys are speedy. 3hr marathon should be a cake walk for you.

Thanks Curtis. But I'm thinking maybe you mean 4 hour marathon...not a 3 hour marathon!

Oh come on Kim- you can do a 3 hour marathon :)

Great running. You are so able to do a 3 hour marathon. Keep up the great training and enjoy the day off!!
